could be worse

So I'll barely have an asset to my name - no house, car or other big ticket item. Am I scared? No, I actually feel quite liberated. I know I care little for material things. Important to me are my family and friends, a roof over my head, a job to allow me to live and do the things I love. I suppose this is easy to say when I want or need for nothing, and would be very different if I had no money in my pocket. I am very thankful for what I have in my life and the experiences that I have had, both good and bad. For these are the sum of my life so far.
